Trion Tavern in New Haven

Just OK this time. A little slow.

1st time visiting and was impressed with the dinner and drinks. Girls nite out had a blast!!

Great place to eat and have a drink they feature over 58 different craft beer taps and regular beers also . Food is great and quick service . I have not had to wait to eat here even on a Friday night at 6.30 . Staff knocks themselves out to help you They have a family area and a event room that holds up to forty people you can use also.

We frequented the Trion for 9 years. It was our favorite pub for beer selection, service, and food. Now with the service being sub par, food orders being wrong or overcooked, and a beer menu that is frequently out we no longer go. The last 9-10 times have been disappointing with service being slow to non existent as well as not friendly.

Delicious food! Menu has changed alot over the years but still good quality. Had to deduct a star as the wait for the server to return with drinks or a drink refill was very long. This was compounded by the 30 min wait for food. The food was hot and delicious when it arrived just would have wished it was a bit quicker.

Nice enough place to take family for just a dinner so mom does not have to cook... Pizza, wings and burgers are all very good.. Beer menu is extensive but find out what they actually have before making a selection :)

Have been coming here for a while, after the last couple of times things have gotten pretty bad won’t be coming back. First WARNING they charge extra 4 % if you use charge card we weren’t informed after eating. The food overall used to be excellent, I don’t know if they have new cook or not, but they were out of stuff and quesadillas came cold ask to have reheated came back soggy. Wings were good but our sandwich’s came out burnt black on one side, good selection of beer. Shots of the month creative but depending on who makes it how good it is. Had to ask for silverware, ketchup and plates for appetizers. Please go back to the old way of operation.

Great beer selection and the chicken wings were done nicely. Not a gimmick bar, so it wasn't overly crowded. Mostly middle aged people, which is probably why the food and beer was good. Older generations don't fall for the gimmicks. Well done!!

Good wings ... no saylors or ginger ale only reason it a 4 stars.

Food was delivered quickly beer flavors were excellent. Would definitely recommend the black and bleu burger.

Good spot but they lose a star for "fries only no substitutions" like the fries are something special. Onion rings are but they are a lot extra. Oh well, still pretty good

Love this place

They have an incredible selection of tap beers that rotate monthly. The food is fairly good and the service is great. If you are a Fort Wayne area beer drinker, this is where it's at. Don't forget about their tasting tracker built into their website.

Every time I come here its closed. Its 11:15 right now and the doors are locked. Really disappointed, probably wont try again for quite awhile.

Went to the Trion for first time after the shutdown. So glad to get back out! Cleanliness was great and food same high quality as before! Felt very secure and am going back tonite for wings. Thanks for opening and let's all show our support! Have noticed some FT restaurants look to have closed forever. Lets all try to get back to normal and thank them for hanging in there. So many operators and employees have lost so much money and need our patronage to survive. So glad they are back!

LOVE their cracker crust pizza!!! Bartenders are always very friendly and welcoming.

Fantastic place... second time here as we are out of town..Gizzards are Amazing, beer is phenomenal lots to choose from! Great atmosphere, music isn't too loud and bartender Lisa was superb! Will be back as we are just across the line :)

Not so good, service was bad food was soso, fish and chips I ordered came to me raw in the middle sent back brought out new fish same story, calzone order was forgotten about and put in late but one member of our party didn't get to eat till later. Cheese curds were ordered as an appetizer and were forgotten about but did come out and were given to us for free wich we did appreciate, looked like they were overwhelmed by large crowd in town for football game.

The Trion has very friendly service, nice clean atmosphere, great beer and cocktails, but unfortunately the food was just average and very slow to get to us. We also had an entree added to our bill that we neither ordered nor received. All was taken care of promptly and the slow service apologized for. We'll try it again sometime and update. Hate to trash this nice place based on one visit.

A nice, low- keyed place to have a drink.

A very nice place to enjoy a quiet time with someone special. I liked the pattimelts, & if you like fried gizzards, these are the best that I ever tasted. Lisa, is the bar tender & server. She is very efficient & friendly.

Good bar food. Lots of beer variety! I was really surprised. Dated facility, but no issues.

Nice beer selection, friendly staff. If you get chicken gizzards be sure to tell them NOT to drench them in BBQ sauce. Absolutely ruins them.

Great food! I really enjoyed the chicken, and burgers. Friendly people, private, classy environment.

Stopped to have a draft because the train in downtown New Haven was blocking all thw crossings. Talked local baseball with someone at the bar. Funny after 20 minutes of conversation train was still in the same spot. We have all experienced this, right?
